Tombstone

We went to Tombstone over the weekend and had so much fun. It wasn't over 100 degrees that day and so it was quite pleasant. I think I am really climatizing to the heat here, because just the other day it was 91 and I put on a sweater. Crazy!
Anyway, this town was founded in 1880 and still exists. They have kept a couple of streets pretty much the same and so it felt like you had literally stepped back into the old west. Isaac started walking like a cowboy once we stepped onto the old dirt road. Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp lived in Tombstone and the famous OK Corral standoff happened here. It just was really cool.
Molly was a little grumpy that day, because there were quite a few wasps and bees flying around and so I didn't get too many pictures with her. In her defense she did have a bee crawling all over her legs during a gun show and tried her very hardest not to panic and now let's just say that when ever she sees a small insect flying, her nerves are a little on edge. I think she has been traumatized for life.

Here is Isaac, Aaron and Molly(who is trying to look at the camera and not the bees) on the old street in Tombstone.

"Oh no, Isaac is stuck in a toilet"

Isaac and his wonderful imagination. He loved it here.

We love visitors!

My Sweet Mom came to visit us for a couple of weeks last month and then we were joined by Aaron's parents for a few days for Isaac's baptism. A few days later my mom and Aaron's dad left and then Aaron's mom stayed for a few more weeks. It was wonderful to have them all here. Their visits always brighten our lives. A few days after Aaron's mom left we had some really good friends come and stay a couple of days. I don't have any photos of that visit, but it was a blast.
While my mom was here we went up to the mountains to escape the heat and to enjoy the scenery. It was breathtaking. I included some of those photos. Later we took my wonderful mother in law up there while the sun was setting and again.....beautiful, but I unfortunately didn't get the pictures from off of her camera so you will just have to imagine it.

It's Time

For more than a year now I have wanted to start a blog and it is finally happening, thanks to some encouragement. So here it goes. . . . . . .It's Time!
