Thick and Yucky air

Now you can see how wonderful those clear days are, which aren't very often.
Different days-Same views(roughly)

You don't notice it as much when you're walking around,
but from the 11th floor it's not hard to miss.

It makes me realize how much how I love blue skies.

Isn't that awful?
And no, these were not taken on a rainy day.  It is just how the air can get here.
Again.....YUCKY!

Within Minutes

of Preston and Emily coming over,

the games were on
(with Isaac getting a little defeated)

A LOT of toys were brought out,

the girls piled in the 'princess castle',

and finally after a trip to two different stores,
watching "The Never Ending Story" (with a little napping in between by certain persons),
eating yummy crepes with fruit topping, delicious orange butter and crispy bacon for dinner,
the kids bathed and we ended the day with stories read by both Aunt Emily and Uncle Preston.
This is one of their favorites "The Giant Jam Sandwhich"
It was a great day and we can hardly believe they are finally here with us for a WHOLE year!  I guess being in the Air Force definitely has it's advantages.
What a blessing.

Yes You!

The both of you!

You're going to be here in less than 24 hours!
The sign is up!  Anticipation is looming heavily,
And now we wait.

It put a smile on my face

when I looked down and saw the high school kids getting ready for football season.

After a long, hot, fun day with friends at the pool,
Emmaline is sleeping.

Isaac and Molly are with friends at Everland to see the fireworks.

And I'm here........missing my other half.
My husband loves football,
and I know he gets all excited when this time of year rolls around.
So seeing these high shcool kids
playing an American game out my window,
brought a piece of him
and a piece of 'home'
to me in this foreign country.

It seems to me

that I tend to do crazy things when I am pregnant.
Well, I must have had a double dose of craziness because this time I am pregnant and in a foreign country.
I still laugh when I think about it.
I purchased these jeans from a great little Korean clothing shop right outside the base for 20,000 won(about $18).
They have a dragon stitched on one pant leg at the bottom and little rhinestones in the shape of a cat on the back pockets.  (And I don't even LIKE cats.)
I was almost embarrassed to show Aaron my purchase, but I had nothing to worry about.  He thought they were GREAT!

He even wanted me to wear them on our date we had.
Isaac snapped this shot before we left for our night out.
When I put them on, Molly said with really big eyes, "Mom, I like those".
Isaac said with a very quizzical look on his face, "Um, those look a little fancy Mom".
I'm tellin' ya......crazy things...and I still have 4 more months to go in this pregnancy.

Once there were some seeds

that couldn't wait to be planted by a little girl who loved them SO much.

The seeds grew and grew just waiting to bloom for their new friend.

The little girl loved them, and watered them, and would wake up EVERY morning just to run out and see how the seeds were doing.

She waited.....

and waited.

Until finally it happened.  One of the seeds bloomed into a small, but beautiful purple flower.  The little girl dressed just for the occasion.  She wanted her Daddy there for the big moment that she had been waiting for.  She picked that small, but beautiful flower and admired it ever so gently, put it in her hair and beamed around all day, knowing that everyone would notice her beautiful little creation.
