about this happening to other people.....
Until yesterday morning at 6:30am.
I found this little girl looking VERY sheepishly......
because she KNEW what she had done.
And now........we just have to wait for it to grow back.
Yes, she did cut right up to the skin and yes, I was horrified.
I let out one of those motherly 'gasps' that even woke up Isaac.
Aaron in his slow, sturn, low Daddy voice said,
"No.....No......EM....MA......LINE."
She immediately dropped her head and just cried and cried.
Later I asked her if she had looked in the mirror and she said with a very sad face,
"Yes."
I then put a headband on her head with a bow right where her bald spot is and said,
"You have to now wear this all day Emmaline."
Again she said very sadly, "Okay".
The poor girl, we're going to the barber shop to see what they can do.
I don't have very high hopes.
