I was due on the 15th, and now 4 days later I'm still waiting and anticipating the arrival of this little baby. In the mean time I am TRYING to be patient and fill my days with distractions.
My wonderful Mom arrived last week
and Molly and I took her to some of the sights
here in Seoul while we were waiting.
This is the amazing Dongdaemun Shopping District
that you just have to see to believe.
My Mom couldn't believe the selection of
ALL the beads and fabric.
It was SO FUN!
And of course, Molly kept receiving little gifts
from the different vendors.
My Mom loved the sight of these motorcycles
going by our taxi, piled high with odds and ends.
We also had the pleasure of seeing
My Mom returned back to Osan with the kids and Aaron joined me in Seoul to do more waiting.
We visited the Coex Mall that had an underground Aquarium. It's been fun spending time with my sweetheart. We've had some pretty good laughs even under these circumstances of w-a-i-t-i-n-g.
Now granted we ARE in a foreign country and so there are some things we might not understand, but this toilet in the middle of the aquarium.......we just didn't get it. Everyone else seemed to walk by it with out even batting an eye.
There was a place you could stick your hands into a pool of fish that would nibble off your dead skin. Aaron was the brave one who went first along with these boys.......
then it was my turn......and it tickled!
I will be delivering my baby here in Seoul in a military hospital and because the traffic can be SO bad here in Korea, they want the pregnant mothers to come up a couple of weeks before they are due to make sure the mother and baby have a safe delivery. It has definitely been trying my patience to be here waiting, but hopefully the doctor will induce me tomorrow so we can hold this little girl in our arms and go back home so we can ALL be together for Christmas.
